0000342 Workers’ Comp/Supervisor Safety Training
Provides a general overview of Workers’ Compensation insurance and the impact of
an effective safety training program. Contractors will learn the requirements of
participation in the Comp system.

Requirement)
0000344 Introduction to Indoor Air Quality
Defines Indoor Air Quality issues such as; “Sick Building Syndrome” and
“Building Related Illnesses”. Provides an overview of the IAQ investigation
process.

This 2 night course provides instruction on how to perform load calculations for
commercial structures. Attendees will be introduced to the most widely accepted
methods for sizing commercial A/C systems.

Clinics for Contractor’s Employees
Introduction to Air Conditioning
A non-technical description of the work performed and the products sold by our
industry. The course uses every day examples of the physics used in the
refrigerant cycle in non-technical terminology. This course is designed for a
contractor’s support staff; secretaries, dispatchers, counter personnel, job
costing and warehouse personnel. The course will help them better understand the
equipment and the terminology we use so that they may be more productive. (2.5
hrs)
Low Voltage Controls Clinic
A review of basic low voltage control circuits. Includes tips on wiring, testing
and troubleshooting. This clinic is designed for the new technician, but may
also serve as a refresher for veterans. (2.5 hrs)
Refrigerant Cycle Clinic
A review of the basic refrigerant cycle. Includes tips on trouble shooting and
charging methods with air flow in mind. The clinic is designed for the new
technician, but may also serve as a refresher for the veteran. (2.5 hrs)
Heat Pump Service Clinic
A review of the basic heat pump including standard service and troubleshooting
procedures. Also includes defrost controls information. The clinic is designed
for the new technician, but may also serve as a refresher for the veteran. (2.5
hrs)
Customer Relations & Your Employees
This seminar is designed to make a difference in your company customer
relationship through your employees. Training for receptionists, dispatchers,
service techs, installers and others who represent your firm. (2 hrs)
Gas Furnace Clinic
A review of the basic Maintenance & Service procedures for Natural Gas & LPG
(includes safety checks). This clinic is designed to help the new technician and
also serves as a refresher for the veteran tech. (2 hrs)
