DESCRIPTION:Executive Lunch and Learn – A talk on the (post-session) highlights of the 2024 Florida Legislative Session.\nRSA Consulting Group (FRACCA Lobbyist in Tallahassee) will do a post-session highlight on the 2024 Florida Legislative Session.\nWho Should Attend? \nThis class is intended for Owners\, Executives\, Managers & Associate Members. \nEdward Briggs Vice President of Government Relations & Community Affairs for RSA Consulting Group LLC will be going over the highlights of the 2024 Florida Legislative Session and will be answering questions at the end. \n\nCurrently if you belong to RACCA…..part of your RACCA dues go to FRACCA which currently has RSA Consulting Group under contract to be FRACCA eyes\, ears and voice concerning legislation that affects the HVACR Market in Florida.\nThe 2024 session of the Florida legislature passed two of FRACCA’s priority bills (HB 481 and HB 917).\nA third bill\, HB 49\, dealing with employment of minors\, also passed and was approved by Governor DeSantis.\nThe bills above provide an effective date of July 1\, 2024.\nThese are a few key items RSA Consulting Group worked on.\n\nRSVP for the Lunch & Learn will be on RACCA’s Website www.racca-florida.org.
