Keane Bismarck will be your guide taking you through all four years (five years for Refrigeration) of the Apprenticeship Program. Keane will show you where the students hone their skills to be the next generation of Tampa Bay HVAC/R Experts. What goes hand in hand with the Apprenticeship Program are Tools. RACCA has invited some of the Premier HVAC/R Tool Vendors in so you can see what is New and ask questions on the Tools you maybe thinking of buying. \nTour Guide:\nKeane Bismarck\nApprenticeship Program Administrator \nCost: FREE\nWhen: April 4th from 6 to 9 PM\nWhere: Pinellas Technical College -Clearwater Campus \nApprenticeship Program Introduction\nYour employee is indentured into a four-year program registered with Florida’s Department of Education under standards set by the U. S. Department of Labor. \nApprentices attend class 2 nights per week while they work full-time for their employer during the day. No evening classes are held during the busy summer months. \nClasses meet either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Classes are conducted at Pinellas Technical College\, located near the St. Petersburg/Clearwater airport. \nWe will begin accepting applications for the 2023/2024 training year after July 1st\, 2023. Classes will begin Tuesday evening\, September 5th. \nWe have 2 Apprenticeship programs:\n\nResidential/Light Commercial HVAC Installer/Servicer\nCommercial Refrigeration Mechanic\n\nContractor firms pay the tuition and book cost for their Apprentices. Costs per Apprentice is $850.00 per year. Firms that are members of RACCA receive a discount of $175.00. \nMonday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday classes are held at Pinellas Technical College (PTC) – (Clearwater Campus)\, located near the St. Petersburg/Clearwater airport.
